My little brother ditched me to spend time with his girlfriend at the Mall of America before we went to see Star Trek on Thursday night, so I went out for a little photography to kill time while waiting for the movie. Quite pleased at how several of them turned out (full set here):
My favorite shot of the bunch, taken at the waterfall in the ravine I’ve come to love so much, though moreso at full size.
Jutting out over the river, this dead tree sits at the end of the ravine, while new life springs up behind it
A chewed up, abandoned tennis ball slowly makes its way upriver.
The sun begins to set past the World War I memorial overlooking the south side of the ravine, while downtown Minneapolis lurks in the background
And a broader sunset shot as I make my way back home, wary of the clouds rolling in over Minneapolis.
