So, how well does the series finish? The interesting thing about our hero didn’t really get any play, an unexpected threat shows up, sacrifices are made, the day is saved, and everything works out in the end. All things considered, a fairly generic tale with a couple underutilized points. It could most certainly have been worse, but like so many OVAs, it feels like it would have benefited greatly from having more time/space to flesh the story out. Of course, it probably did get that space in the original game, but like I said previously, I doubt that I’ll ever find out for sure. The anime might yet manage to do a better job of it, so I’ll be keeping an eye out for it on the cheap- though it seems I won’t be getting it locally, Fye’s only seems to have some show called Gun Parade Marcy:
