Hrm, there’s the robot, Banpei, guess I did catch up to where I’d read with the last disc. We have a rather meandering set of episodes here, mostly wandering around, but providing some secondary character development and, notably in the last episode on the disc, moving Keiichi and Belldandy’s relationship up a step (and fullfilling the mandatory bath and beach episodes in one go). We finally got to see Belldandy take the wheel with one of the Auto Club’s go-karts, but I’m itching for some sort of expansion on the racing that was present in the original OVA. Really though, the highlight of the disc for me was the second episode, as Marller hatches a plot to separate the two by way of Senbei, diminutive God of Poverty and bringer of misfortune… Shakkin! (late, tired, don’t judge me :stare:)
