Augh! Super goofy relationship-advancing horny-potioned Belldandy episode, goofy-but-sweet relationship-advancing gender-switched Keiichi episode, melancholy Urd super-character-development episode, OMG-RETARDEDLY-PLOY-HEAVY-EPISODE. While Marller’s been there on and off this season, and has really brought the only bit resembling an ongoing plot to the mix, there really hasn’t been anything building over the course of the season except for the fits and spurts with Keiichi and Belldandy’s relationship that hasn’t even seen a real kiss yet. But the last episode on the disc? Urd’s heritage comes into play in full force and all of a sudden we’ve got a plot that will likely consume the entirety of the last disc. If it weren’t so late, I’d already be watching it now. As it is, I’ll be eagerly firing it up when I get home tomorrow, or possibly as soon as I get up, if I do so early enough.
