Katsuhiko Jinnai:


Ifurita's one-time master, Nanami's older brother, and the main villan, Jinnai(as he's referred to) is a rotten fellow through and through. When the story starts, he is under investigation for buying the votes that got him elected as Student Body President at Shinonome High. He is always scheming, plotting, and cheating, but Makoto always does something to foil him, and always unintentionally, right down to taking the last sandwich at lunch from under Jinnai's nose.

This causes Jinnai to snap and he unleashes a plan to be rid of Makoto long enough to prevent him from testifying against him. While chasing Makoto down(after luring him out with a cleverly-placed 'meet me out back after school' letter that he took from Nanami's room), time freezes, Mokoto is lured to the ruins under the school, and they are all suddenly transported to El-Hazard.

Jinnai finds himself in Bugrom territory and quickly discovers he can communicate with them. When the patrol he comes across brings him before Diva, she thinks he's a messenger sent from the Gods to lead them in battle and conquest against the rest of El-Hazard. Jinnai, being the power-hungry person he is, plays along and takes control of the Bugrom armies.

As Jinnai whips them into a vicious fighting force, he begins his reign of terror and soon wants a weapon with power comprable to the Eye of God, and gets information on the demon god Ifurita out of her. Of course, Jinnai has to cheat, lie, and steal, but he ultimately gets his ultimate weapon.
