Rune Venus:


Princess of Roshtaria and co-leader of the El-Hazardian Alliance with her sister Fatora, we first meet her when Makoto and Mr. Fujisawa rescue her from a group of Bugrom. When she first sees Makoto, she mistakes him for Fatora, and when she finds out he's a he, she asks a favor of him, to pretend to be Fatora until she can be found.

When she asked Makoto to dress up, it was to maintain the support of the tribes in the face of the Bugrom threat, because only the Royal Sisters could operate the Eye of God, El-Hazard's ultimate weapon, Ifurita aside, of course.

In a show of faith, she sends Makoto(as Fatora) from the Palace in Floristica to have the Priestesses of Mt. Muldoon to unseal the Eye of God and beyond that.

We also find out early on that she is engaged to Galus, prince of a distant land, in a political marriage. In reality, Galus is ruler of the Phantom Tribe, and was responsible for the kidnapping of Princess Fatora.
