Galus:


Leader of the Phantom Tribe, masters of illusion. He has been engaged to Princess Rune Venus under the (human-looking) guise of a prince from a distant tribe seeking a political alliance. Galus is also responsible for the disappearance of Princess Fatora. He does so in order to try and find a way to gain control of the Eye of God in order to gain revenge for his people.

When Makoto and crew show up, Galus is thrown for a loop by the appearance of Makoto, since in addition to trying to find the secret of the Eye of God, he was also trying to formulate discord and rebellion among the Tribes. Nanami also proves to be a thorn in his side, with her ability to see through any illusion.

During the course of the episodes, he tries to eliminate Makoto several times with the aid of his servants: the assassin Kiriya, and Najato, Galus's lover, and child prince of the Phantom Tribe.
